FAQ
When does The Dunes of Babylon take place?
We welcome you to step onto the soft sands of the Dunes of Babylon on Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 12:00 to 23:00. Gates open at midday each day, with the latest entry at 21:00.
Where is the event located?
This year, we’ve found the perfect paradise to host The Dunes of Babylon: South Beach Zandvoort. A hidden gem along the Dutch coastline where three beach clubs—Bodhi Beach, Manii, and Paal69—merge into one Babylonian dreamland.
Expect two music stages, a dedicated wellness and workshop area, including yoga with your feet in the sand, sound experiences and meditations, spiritual concerts, IceBreath by David Boot, and much more. This is the one event this summer that you won’t want to miss!
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available exclusively through our official website: https://shop.thegardensofbabylon.com/en/the-dunes-of-babylon-2025/
Please ensure you buy your tickets only through our website or acknowledged reseller platforms to avoid scams.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes, The Dunes of Babylon is strictly for visitors aged 18 and over.
Where can I sleep? Is camping included?
Unlike some of our previous events, this is not a camping festival. We recommend the following options for your stay:
In Amsterdam
- Park Inn by Radisson – Just a short train ride from Zandvoort, The Radisson is a great value option to rest your head. Rooms are available at a special Gardens price via our ticket shop.
In the Zandvoort area (early booking recommended)
- Airbnb
- Camping de Lakens
- Center Parcs Zandvoort
- De Roompot
- NH Hotel Zandvoort
Is there organized transport to the venue?
While there is no official transport to the venue, there are many ways to get to Zandvoort, including:
- By train > to station Zandvoort
- By bike > to our designated bike parking. Please do not park your bike anywhere else due to our strict agreements with both the city council as well as the neighbors.
- By taxi > share a taxi to Zandvoort. Be mindful of traffic!
- By car > parking is considered problematic. You are advised to arrive before 10:00AM if you want to come by car and find a parking spot.

No outside food and drinks are allowed at the festival. A number of delicious food options will be available onsite.

Can I swim during the day?
To ensure the safety of our visitors — especially during peak season when lifeguards are under extra pressure — we have decided that swimming will not be permitted during the festival.
Dangerous rip currents are present in front of the festival site, which can pull even the strongest swimmers out to sea quickly and unexpectedly, even in shallow water.
If you would like to swim, you can:
- Arrive at the beach early in the morning before the festival starts.
- Find an alternate location for your swim. Please note: re-entry to the festival is not permitted.
What items are prohibited?
- Outside food and drinks
- Full water bottles (empty are allowed)
- Weapons or sharp objects
- Glass items
- Pressurized deodorant and other sprays
- Drugs or illegal substances > zero tolerance.
- Professional camera equipment without media accreditation
Do you sell cigarettes?
No, we do not sell cigarettes on site.
