Where to watch the sky go gold
Ibiza sunsets are their own religion. Here are our favourite spots to watch the light change. Each one different, all of them worth it.
Es Vedrà
One of Ibiza’s most iconic natural landmarks. Best reached by car or scooter followed by a short walk to the viewpoint. Watch the sun disappear behind the rocky islet as the whole bay turns amber. One of those views that doesn’t need any words.

Benirràs Beach
Located in the north, famous for golden sunsets, pine-covered hills, and a relaxed bohemian atmosphere. On some evenings it becomes especially iconic for its live spontaneous drum circles, a ritual that’s been happening here for decades. Part sunset, part music, part something harder to name.

Time and Space

El Bigotes
A legendary little restaurant on the rocks at Cala Mastella. No menu, no website, cash only, same fisherman running it for decades. They serve bullit de peix and arroz a banda. You don’t choose what you eat. In summer it’s nearly impossible to get a table without a local contact. But if you get in, it’s one of the best meals you’ll have anywhere.
