01 – Airports

Where to fly in

Two airports serve the Albanian Riviera. Which one you choose shapes the journey – both are beautiful in different ways.

Tirana International Airport

TIA
Tirana International Airport
Mother Teresa Airport – Albania

Albania’s main international hub. Well connected from Amsterdam, London, Rome, Vienna, Istanbul and more. From here you head south along one of the most dramatic coastal roads in Europe.

~3 hours drive to Moyo
Rental cars available at terminal
Taxi direct: ~€100-130

View route on Rome2Rio →

Corfu International Airport

CFU
Corfu International Airport
Ioannis Kapodistrias – Greece

Technically on a Greek island, but the closest airport to Dhërmi as the crow flies. Take the short ferry to Sarandë, then travel north up the coast. A scenic approach for those coming from Greece or the UK.

~30 min ferry to Sarandë
Then ~1.5 hours north to Dhërmi
Great from UK, Athens, Western Europe
