In the summer of 2022, we closed the gates to The Monastery in Goch indefinitely. This location is no longer able to accommodate the ethos, the dreams, and the setup of a festival by The Gardens of Babylon. After three beautiful gatherings it is now time to move on..

Welcome to a new chapter in the Book of Babylon.. A new Babylon location in the South-East of Holland, a blank canvas, from waterside to forest fields we are extremely excited. Time to welcome you to an end-of-summer dream “The Gardens of Babylon Festival” from Friday September 1 to Monday September 4. This full weekend is for the Babylon family…

The stages at this festival are programmed until 1:00am after this we switch to our night program. We take you on a cosmic journey until sunrise and the reopening of our main stage.

Not in Europe anymore? We understand that with this date change some of our family members might not be in Europe any longer. A tough but necessary decision. July is not an option for us to create the festival we envision. We have arrived in March already, which leaves us little time for the most magical gathering. SO, this year we close the summer season with this weekend away.
“Wait a minute? Is this the same weekend as Burning Man?” This is indeed the same weekend. For the ones that are travelling to the dust, we love you, we will miss you and we will see you next year. But there’s an endless amount of people that cannot or will not travel to the desert.

Distance from Eindhoven to the festival – 45 minutes

We will set up Babylon shuttles to the festival location. Not only is it an excellent way to reduce your carbon footprint, but also an amazing opportunity to meet people along the way. More transportation information will be announced soon.
